About the CRA
Investing in Haines City since 1990
The Haines City Community Redevelopment Agency was established in 1990 and expanded in 2001 to cover two districts spanning approximately 8 square miles. Through Tax Increment Financing, every dollar of increased property value is reinvested directly into our streets, parks, businesses, and homes.
Our net position grew $5.8 million this fiscal year alone, with a 40% increase in TIF revenues. That growth translates to real improvements: renovated storefronts, new sidewalks, upgraded parks, and a stronger economic foundation for 42,000+ residents.
